Meet the Author.....

Anamika Mishra was referred to me by Finuraa.com, I was surprised by her age and the depth about her insight about the complexities of Relationship. She defines love as a giving relationship in which one must not have any expectations but just the power of giving. For the old cynics out there [I am sure I heard a few snickers!!], this is the ideology of the young. But her relationship both with God and Humans are heart touching. Read on guys and bless this little one who has just now joined the world of writers.

Anamika is a girl who is known for strong opinions and the passionate defense of her beliefs. She was born and raised in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh which is known as the Manchester of North India. She is presently working as a writer for several communities and websites.

She is an avid reader and admires Paulo Coelho as her role model. When not writing, she loves to scribble in her Blog , play with her pet, click photographs and travel across the nation. Being an animal lover, she is also a member of 'People For Animals' NGO. 'Too Hard To Handle' is her debut novel.(

1. Welcome to my Blog Anamika, How does it feel to be known in the world of readers and writers at such a young age?

Thanks a lot. It's a pleasure to be on your blog.

Well, this is just a beginning I should say. But yes, Its an out-the-world-feeling when someone appreciates for my work and counts me among the known of the writers. It's like a dream come true.

2. What is the thought behind this novel of yours?

See, when people are in a relationship some give importance to a past life, some present while others in the future. On the other hand, when we log into Facebook, we see statuses related to friend's betrayal etc. on our wall by many. So, these were the things which stroked in my mind and forced to me to write something, to which every single person can relate to their lives. Too hard to handle is full of such moments which brings one on a crossroad and where one has to make their way all alone. But it is not that serious as it sounds, Its witty, simple and humorous with an essence of philosophy.

3. What is the message you want to convey to your readers with your writing? [Relating to this novel]

I want to convey a very simple message to my readers. It is that firstly, you should not trust anyone blindly and secondly, if you really love someone, love them without any expectations and the desire of getting something in return. Love is selfless. And thirdly, You should not mess with the flow of life. If something has to go wrong, it will...!!

4. The main USP of your book was 'Relationship'? What does the word Relationship mean to you?

It is a bond which is full of love, trust and respect. Trust should be on that level, where you understand the reason why your partner lied to you and you just forgive them because no reason in the world is bigger than one's relationship.

5. At such a young age you are talking about the complexities of Relationships. Has there ever been a point while writing this novel which made you pause and think of the depth of this term?

Yes!! Actually this novel is the result of deep thoughts about the complexities of a relationship. Though I have never been through one, but have seen lots and lots of cases around me, so have tried to find a way a solution through my novel to solve these complexities.

7. Lifestyle has changed a lot it India. Do you feel that the relationships our parents had  had more depth than the ones the youngsters invest in or do you feel that the older generation can still learn from the younger generation in terms of equality of the sexes or openness in a relationship?

I have a mixed opinion on that. I agree with the point that the level trust and depth was high amongst the older generation people, and people of our generation seem to be loosing the real charm and charisma of love. No doubt, Gender equality is important and this era people understand it in a better way but I feel one try to maintain the dignity in a relationship. People today often misunderstood openness with arrogance, which is sad. They also tend to misunderstand true love with infatuation and attraction and therefore resulting in a series of break-up and patch-ups in their life. I feel, the heart is a very special room and there should be just one key to it and that should be given to a very special and deserving person. Heart should be treated like a public place where whoever wants to come, they can come-rest-play-go!!

8, What are your future projects?

Well, I have started working on my second project. All I can tell about it is that it is an entire different story if compared to Too hard To Handle and has a very unique plot.
